Ulmer Lyriksommer: Female Tango – Striding Forward

With the tango poetry performance “Female Tango,” Argentine tango and poetry merge, placing the female role in tango at the center – as an expression of a new sense of self on the dance floor. The international female trio Judith Ruks (piano), Shinjoo Cho (bandoneon), and Laura Nivou (violin), together with Ulm-based poet Christine Langer and tango dancers, create an artistic exploration in which movement translates poetic motifs.
